Mouth-Watering Japanese cuisine.. Fresh seafood.. Delicious dishes..

Lets head to Momoya!

Momoya is this japanese restaurant situated along the back of tanah merah kechil road. Its a restaurant in a row of shop houses so if you arent careful, you might miss it.
I dont have any pictures because it slipped my mind to take them as the food there was simply irresistable.

My family and i opted for the dinner buffet, which costed about $35 after gst and all other taxes, now you might be thinking, $35 for a dinner buffet, its not worth it!!

BUT

after you have ordered the food and by the time you've finished, you would have realised that paying $35 for that quality of food is an absolute steal.

Firstly, they do allow a free flow of sashimi, unlike other japanese restaurants that limit you to the amount of sashimi you are allowed to have. The sashimi they have, is of absolute freshness and of very big slices. After finishing our first plate of sashimi which was about 4 servings, 20 pieces, we all unanimously agreed that we would be eating much more than 4 servings in the many plates to come. True enough, we polished up each and every plate of sashimi that made its way to our table. Poor salmons.

Secondly, they have a wide variety of food on their buffet menus and each and every of their food items on the menu are freshly made and then served to you. We ordered quite a lot of dishes, but just to name a few, scallops with fish roll and cheese, tako yakis, saba fishes - my parents absolutely loved this dish, beef, pork, chicken, handrolls and tempuras.

Thirdly, their ice cream desserts are a must have. Although they are not avaliable in the buffet packages, they come at $2-5 for a serving. Its the absolute perfect finishing to a great meal.

Unfortunately i do not have photos of the dishes, but i would definitely take photos the next time i patronise that restaurant. (:

I highly recommend that restaurant to anyone that i know. I certainly enjoyed myself alot!
